FLASH

I blink and in a flash i revert to my basic instinct to survive
But im not surviving im living and breathing,moment to moment one breath at a time
I dropped a dime on the voice in my head and told on myself
I reached up high and took my spell book off my top shelf
Abracadabra alacazam,but it wasnt a spell i cast it was a shadow
Black like the widow and close to that spider i crept deeper into my past
I saw myself coming and reached out my hand
I pulled my soul from that abyss,and now i can miss
my glass isint half empty nor is it half full
I glance forward and look into your eyes
locked and loaded isint an option as i see your eyes look back at me like stars in the sky
Im frozen but not stuck,i duck but im not dodging,
Im all shuck but no jive
Not this turkey,not this guy
Pyramids are tombs but dont trap the soul
Its a place to rest,and slowly let go
Shaken with rapture i can still capture lightning in a bottle
Its what i do as i lead and have no longer decided to follow
I will obey the principles i believe but wont be bound by them
